Chlorine is one of the most commonly used disinfectants for the deactivation of pathogenic organisms found in drinking water, swimming pools, and wastewater.
Whether measuring residual or total chlorine, reliable, accurate and low maintenance instrumentation is critical. CSL supply a range of models and makes of chlorine analysers to best suit the application.
The industry standard Hach CL17 Chlorine Analyzer uses colorimetric DPD chemistry to continuously monitor water for free or total chlorine. The CL17 analysis method is not affected by changes in chlorine concentration, sample pH, temperature, flow or pressure, thus offering more reliable and accurate measurement with less operator interventions than other methods in today’s market. Monthly routine maintenance for the CL17 can usually be performed in 15 minutes, including changing reagents and cleaning the colorimetric cell. No special tools are required. For typical use, the CL17 will operate unattended for 30 days.
For new supply or replacement CSL can offer Hach, Endress and Hauser, Evoqua and Swan chlorine analysers.
